Raw Wildflower Honey: Harvested in East Milton MA.

Raw honey is unpasteurized.  All the natural enzymes that are believed to contain healthy healing properties are present in raw honey such as antioxidants, vitamins, antibacterial and anti-viral properties.  Children under the age of 12 months should not consume raw honey.

This is a side project or hobby I enjoy working on.  I’ve kept bee hives since 2015.  From the photos you’ll see that the honey can be a deep dark or light color gold.  The lighter color honey is produced if the honey is harvested in early summer.  The darker color honey occurs when the honey is harvested later in the season.  The color change is due to the different blumes of flowers the bees collect from.

Crystallization of pure raw honey is natural:

Pure, raw honey has a natural tendency to crystalize over time with no effect on the honey other than color and texture.  Natural honey is a super-saturated sugar solution made up of water, and two sugars glucose and fructose.  When glucose molecules separate from the water, they begin to form into sugar crystals.  Crystalized honey is actually a sign that honey hasn’t been diluted in any way.  A few additional factors that cause pure honey to crystallize include the presence of pollen, and cooler temperatures.

Storing Honey

Simply keep it in a cool location away from direct sunlight and in a tightly sealed container.  It is not necessary to refrigerate honey.  In fact, it's much easier to handle if you don't because the cooler temperature will cause the honey to solidify.
